Pop star Ariana Grande announced that she will make a guest appearance in the new Final Fantasy mobile game Final Fantasy: Brave Exvius. The game itself is on the market already since October 2015. With the integration of the 23-year-old singer, publisher Square Enix want to bring the focus back to its game.
Time and type of integration unknown
What remains to be unclear is when Grande will make her guest appearance in the Final Fantasy game. Also how players will be able to recruit her has not been revealed yet. There are some first insights into Grande’s look and appearance in the game. According to Polygon her character is based on her latex rabbit-eared look as seen on her latest album, Dangerous Woman.
Grande excited about being featured
Ariana herself expressed her excitement about her integration in Final Fantasy in an Instagram post. Along with providing a sneak peak of her character, she said: “Pretty lil thing holds her own in a room of men in suits. I’m SO so excited to finally share that I’ll be featured in FINAL FANTASY BRAVE EXVIUS *crying,* Check out my character in the game, it’s the cutest thing i’ve ever seen in my entire life and i’m so excited and in love with it i cannot contain myself.
Boost for Brave Exvius expected
Final Fantasy: Brave Exvius is a free-to-play, turn-based role-playing game for Android and iOS. It is one of the smaller titles in Square Enix’ line-up. With the integration of a megastar like Grande it can well gain some traction, though.
